Hey Everyone!

Great news!

The boat was finally unloaded, and the games have arrived!!! (Just in time too!) If we send them out in the next few days they should still arrive before Christmas.

Local Pickup

For those of you who are local and want to pickup your game from me instead of having it shipped, this is what you need to do:

3. Pickup your game and do a celebratory dance!

Once you have picked up your game I will have any shipping fees that you paid refunded to you!

I know I say this a lot, but thank you! It has been so fun to see this project come to life, and to share a little piece of me with all of you. I have plenty of other projects in the works right now that I am very excited about. Some of them are game related, some are just fun illustration projects, but I will occasionally be sharing updates on here about those things too. I have always been blown away by the support that I have received from people like you, and I just want to let you know that I appreciate you.

Answers to some frequently asked questions

Hi Everyone!

I have had a few people reach out and ask me some questions over the last few weeks that I thought I would take a moment to answer. I hope this is helpful to anyone else that has been wondering about these same things.

Question  #1: Will this game be delivered before Christmas?

Answer: I sure hope so! The boat should have reached it's port last Friday. With Thanksgiving in the U.S. yesterday and some of the shipping delays caused by COVID 19 at the U.S. ports we are still waiting for that boat to be unloaded, but the last update I received from my fulfillment partner (last Wednesday) was still hopeful and encouraging that we would still be able to deliver the games before Christmas. Keep your fingers crossed!

(Side note: Hopefully this picture below isn't what is causing all of the delays at the U.S. ports, but I'm just saying... you never know!)

Question  #2: What do I do if I still haven't received the BackerKit link to fill out my survey?

Answer: Follow these 4 steps right now!

1. Click on this link:

2. Type in the email address that you use for Kickstarter.

3. Fill out your information.

4. Probably do a little dance to celebrate.

Question  #3: I wanted to pick up my order in person. Is that still an option, and how do I go about doing that?

Answer: Great! Yes, that is still an option. I am waiting until we have the physical copies of the game at the warehouse before I send out detailed information about where to go and how to get the game. In the meantime when the survey asks you for your shipping information you can put N/A for those answers. That will tell us that you are planning on picking it up yourself, and I will reach out later for more information about that.

November Update

Hey Everyone!

This isn't going to be much of an update because I am still anxiously waiting for the games to arrive. However, they are on their way! They finally shipped from the manufacturer in China on November 3, and they let me know that it should take about 20 days for them to arrive. It's getting so close!

(Hopefully this is not the boat our games are being shipped on...)

Now, as far as the timeline goes my goal has always been to have these games delivered to you before Christmas. With some of the minor delays along the way we are cutting it really close to that date, but with the games currently on the water, and things coming to an end, I still think that it can work out.

October Update

Dear Everyone,

I apologize that this update is coming a little later than I had hoped for. I was waiting to see if I could share some pretty exciting news before I sent it... Luckily the wait has paid off! Just a couple of days ago I received news from our manufacturer that BattleFish has been completed and is being shipped to me right now! It takes a couple of weeks to ship overseas, so I am expecting to receive the games by the beginning of November. That is a tiny bit later than my original plan, but with all things considered (as far as the state of the world when it comes to manufacturing and shipping right now) I am amazed that we have not been delayed more than we have! We will begin shipping to you as soon as we can after that.

A few of you have asked about the option to pick up BattleFish on your own to save on shipping costs. That is absolutely still an option! I will be posting more details once we have received the games at our warehouse including how to receive a refund for shipping charges and when and where you can pick up your order.

All in all things are coming along really nicely, and I am excited to get these games sent out to you so that you finally engage in some good clean blood-thirsty underwater warfare!

P.S. Now that I can see an end in sight I'm starting to think about some future projects. Here's a little taste of what you can expect to see in the near future (I'm getting so excited about this one).

 Imagine this... The traditional pick your player and go around the circle waiting for your next turn no longer exists!

In this game, you control all of the players! And you don't have to wait for your turn or ask permission to play your cards! Play whenever you want, on whomever you want, however you want to do it!

Accomplish secret missions while trying to figure out who is your friend and who is your foe.

Struggle to maintain control over the other players and you just might make it out alive... Dun dun dun...

September Update: Don't wait to play BattleFish!

Hey Everyone!

Once again I am just going to be sending you a quick update to let you know what is going on with BattleFish!

1. BattleFish is now on Tabletopia!

First, I wanted to share with you a link to the Tabletopia version of BattleFish so that you can check it out and play it online while we are all waiting for the manufacturing to be done! So here it is!

(P.S. This is the first game I have ever done on Tabletopia, so if you find bugs or have questions about it please feel free to let me know, and I will do my best to get them fixed so that it is running smoothly! This version doesn't include all of the unique artwork, but it will at least give you a good idea of what the game play is like!)

2. Manufacturing!

I got a text this morning from the manufacturer asking a question about the game insert! I was stoked to find that out! That means that our manufacturer in China is back from their COVID shut down, and we are ready to go! I will keep you updated on the progress there as I continue to hear from them. The original timeline they gave me said that it should be done in 35 days from when they start, and then it will be a couple weeks for shipping, and then we are in business! I'm still just keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly, so stay tuned for more updates on that!
